TTi has the ability to produce smart card and magnetic stripe card both in the UK, China and Japan. Significant module production and card manufacturing capacity is available to TTi to best meet its customer's requirements, whilst providing very real and effective contingency supply arrangements for what are mission-critical supply contracts.

TTi has a multi-site production facility in the UK for European requirements. The principle card and smartcard manufacturing plant is at Lewes in Sussex, which is equipped with the latest digital pre-press, litho and screen-printing and card production equipment.

Lewes is the UK's largest facility to mill, embed and encode smartcards under secure card scheme conditions.

Recent investment will ensure this facility remains one of the most modern and efficient in the UK, with the highest levels of security.

TTi also has a number of silicon and mask production facilities throughout the world and is the fourth largest producer of silicon. Currently, the chips for banking applications are manufactured in Japan in Oita with the Iwate plant acting as contingency.

TTi also manufacture IC modules at a number of plants in Japan. The main production facility for the IC modules used by TTi is at Kawasaki.

Card production facilities to produce card bodies and to mill, embed and pre-personalise smart cards are also available to TTi from a number of plants which have card scheme approval. TTi delivers world-wide contingency facilities. In Asia contingency is provided through the joint venture partners. In Europe TTi has a network of partners with reciprocal contingency agreements already in place
