Overview
Innovation
and speed to market through partnership

TTi Card
Technology was formed to exploit an opportunity identified
in the market, for a fresh and innovative approach in the
banking and financial services sector for bank card solutions.
The old
supply chain dynamics was and still is heavily reliant upon
and controlled by the card manufactures for Bank Card solutions.
Solutions were and remain all too proprietary and lack in
flexibility, innovation and speed to market.
The speed
of change, demanded in the highly competitive Bank Card market,
is difficult for one company to manage. Different applications
will be needed to deliver the wide scope of future business
requirement for demanding customers.
The future
of Bank Card supply is open, independent, dynamic supply relationships
which bring together innovative companies capabilities through
joint ventures and alliances. These companies have a wealth
of untapped creativity and skills. Financial institutions
will demand relationships with not only card manufacturers,
but with application developers, system integrators and silicon
suppliers.
TTi's
business model from the outset is to offer solutions within
the new supply chain dynamics, the first very successful partnership
being Toshiba, Toppan and ID Data. TTi's also has total freedom
to form strategic alliances with appropriate partners to build
and deliver financial solutions to our customers requirements.
TTi is more than just a basic bank card supplier.
Toshiba
provide unrivalled technical research and development skills
in the production of banking applications, associated silicon
and technology developments. Toppan provide significant printing
and smart card assembly experience worldwide. ID Data provide
magnetic and smart card manufacturing skills, highly personalised
and creative bureau services and knowledge of the banking
and financial markets. Together, the three founder members
provide a credible and effective combination, totally dedicated
to the delivery of high quality products and services into
the banking market.
The global
presence of the three founding partners also makes TTi a global
supplier of bank card solutions. TTi currently exports to
over 70 countries from its European base and has a presence
in almost 100 countries world-wide.

More
than a basic smartcard manufacturer

TTi
has over one hundred years of corporate knowledge, thirty
years in bank card solutions and twenty years in smartcards.
TTi has extensive capability in banking and payment systems
over all electronic channels especially the new and emerging
'e' and 'm' commerce channels. Through the joint venture partners
TTi has delivered total solutions in banking which use a smartcard
as an enabler.
TTi also
has a range of secure smartcard solutions using public key
(pk) cryptography. Solutions using 'pk' smartcards include
secure and conditional access to sensitive documentation,
employee access and authentication systems and solutions for
trusted third party environments such as Identrus.
TTi has
access to a wealth of innovation in supporting technologies
for smartcard infrastructures, for example Toshiba were one
of the founding development partners in Bluetooth technologies.
Already a range of Bluetooth enabled devices are on the market
from PC's to mobile phones.
Did we
mention that TEC, one the largest suppliers of point of sale
devices, is also a part of the family?
Let's
not forget our hologram development and manufacturing capabilities.
As you
can see TTi is more than a basic bank card manufacturer.
